Terms of Service

Effective and last updated: August 23, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DragnPost, a video clipping, captioning, branding, and social-posting tool operated by The Human Toolbox (Craig Soles), a sole proprietorship based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada ("DragnPost," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using DragnPost, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. What DragnPost is

DragnPost takes a video you upload, breaks it into clips, adds captions and your branding, and posts the result to the social platforms you connect (currently YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook post automatically once connected; TikTok is connected via API but, until our app passes TikTok's own review, TikTok posts publish under TikTok's SELF_ONLY privacy setting, visible only to your own connected TikTok account). DragnPost is built for coaches and other professionals posting their own content or content they have the right to post; it is not a general-purpose media-hosting or file-storage service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

3. Your content

You retain all ownership rights to the video and other content you upload to DragnPost ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant DragnPost a limited license to process, clip, caption, brand, store temporarily, and transmit Your Content solely to provide the service you've requested, specifically, to produce and publish the posts you've asked for. We do not claim ownership of Your Content, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond fulfilling your posting request (see the Privacy Policy for exactly what's stored, for how long, and why).

You're responsible for what you upload. You confirm that you have the rights to post any video you upload (including, where it features other people, any consent you're required to have from them), and that it doesn't violate any law or any connected platform's own terms of service or community guidelines. DragnPost is a posting tool; it does not review or moderate your content before it's posted, beyond automated processing.

4. Connected platform accounts

To post on your behalf, DragnPost needs you to authorize a connection to your own social platform accounts (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube), via OAuth. By connecting a platform:

DragnPost is an independent tool and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by TikTok, Meta (Instagram/Facebook), or YouTube/Google.

5. Subscriptions and payment

DragnPost is offered on paid monthly subscription tiers, billed through Stripe. Current pricing and included usage (source video minutes per month) are shown on our pricing page and may change; if we change pricing for an active subscription, we'll give you reasonable notice before it takes effect. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and we don't offer prorated refunds for partial periods except where required by law or explicitly stated at signup (for example, a specific founding-rate offer's own terms).

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use DragnPost to:

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates this section, with notice where practical.

7. Content retention and deletion

DragnPost follows a "process, post, delete" approach to your uploaded video: once every platform your job targeted has reached a final outcome, your raw video and generated clips are deleted from our storage after a short grace window (24 hours by default). This is described in full in our Privacy Policy. Because of this, DragnPost is not a place to store or archive your footage long-term; keep your own copy of anything you want to retain.

8. Service availability and changes

DragnPost is an actively developed product. We may update, change, or discontinue features, and we'll do our reasonable best to keep the service available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted uptime. A connected platform (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) changing its own API, policies, or availability is outside our control and may affect DragnPost's functionality for that platform; we'll communicate real, material changes when we're aware of them.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

DragnPost is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific platform connection will always succeed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Human Toolbox is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of DragnPost, including any action a connected platform takes on your content or account. Our total liability for any claim relating to DragnPost is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or if we discontinue the service, with notice where practical. On termination, your content follows the same retention/deletion rules described in Section 7 and our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as DragnPost evolves. If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above and, where the change is significant, notify active account holders directly.

13. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to thehumantoolbox2026@gmail.com.

Honest note on scope: these Terms are written to genuinely match how DragnPost works today, not generic filler, verified against the live product. They are not a substitute for review by a licensed lawyer, particularly before this scales to a larger volume of paying customers. If anything here should be tightened before that point, that's a real next step, not a formality.
